Details:
In January of 2020 I made an archive of state sanctioned violence carried out in India that targetted educational institutions, journalists, and anybody speaking up against the fascist regime. The website was my first foray into a new medium [I spent a month learning the basics of html, css and javascript] and the birth of a concept that I have now taken forward into various new projects - using a website as an art piece or statement. Any visitor to the webpage must wade through a wave of BJP (the current ruling political party in India) logos and blood splatter, to get to the information that lies underneath it. The information is chronologically arranged, fact checked, and has a few additional points of interaction that I added - like body counts, and the number of people brought to justice for any of the listed acts of violence.
